Well, Independence Day has come and gone. All the sensible people have escaped to California or the High Country to get out of the heat. Those of us left behind have to come up with a survival strategy until we can once again brag about how great the weather is here in the Valley of The Sun.
For me, that means water. Lake water, pool water, spa water, drinking water, I try to fill my days and nights with water. I keep water in my car, water at my desk. I ask my agents, clients and friends "do you need a water?". Living on a houseboat in the desert, water is my yard and my neighborhood. As the summer goes on and the lake level drops I spend a lot of time thinking about all this water. Where does it come from? Who's using it? Is this a good year or a bad year? It's funny, I grew up in Florida with water everywhere and never gave it a second thought. Now I live in Arizona and my life revolves around water.
